pepper: Pepperpot (I think I left the iron on)
I would have said "Favourite Teal'c Line", but there's probably not enough of them for it to be considered spam. I'll kick it off with these three. First, from Rite Of Passage, when Teal'c freaks Jack out with the mysterious items in Nirrti's lab -

Jack: What's this for?
Teal'c: What do you think it is for?

And a bit from The Other Side -

Jack: So what's your impression of Alar?
Teal'c: That he is concealing something.
Jack: Like what?
Teal'c: I am unsure. He is concealing it.

And in Smoke And Mirrors, Teal'c clotheslining Dr. Langham, and then interrogating him by simply acting scary as hell. He's so cool.

For more fun with Teal'c and Jack, [profile] dknightshadehas an interesting discussion of their developing relationship here, with reference to the current [profile] redial_the_gateepisode, Message In A Bottle.

Also, I've now added the answers to the unguessed lines on the song meme. And posted yet another Sam/Mac story to LeapGate. I am a busy bee.

Oh, yeah - love that bit! Makes me laugh just thinking about it. Poor Teal'c - he looked so hurt. :)

I keep trying to figure the joke out, too. Which is undoubtedly a futile endeavour.

I can't be the only person in the world who thinks the joke is hilariously funny.

OMG! I'm a Jaffa and didn't know it!

(But at least I get to use my brand spankin' new icon. ;-)

Well, I laugh - but I laugh at Teal'c laughing, and the others... not. The joke itself? Not so much. *g*

Teal'c and I get it.

HUMPH! :-):-)

*refuses to admit the possibility that living with a teenager could have anything to do with it*

*remembers kid wasn't a teenager then - that *COULD* have something to do with it*

Heh. Well, if it's any consolation, I think Cassie gets him: http://pepper-field.livejournal.com/49999.html

Ah, well. I can sympathize. If you have to explain a joke... :-)

Actually, I find the joke hilarious. So no, you are not alone. And I don't have kids to blame it on. :-)

It's the glee with which he tells it that makes me laugh. And that glance around, like "This is the funny part, guys!" Aww.

*Wheew*! Glad to know she hasn't completely assimilated me. It's bad enough I enjoy about half her music, but if she'd also compromised my sense of humor, I was going to have to hurt something. :-)
