Occasionally I talk in my sleep. A tells me that it's even possible to hold a (nonsensical) conversation with me, sometimes. Last night, we apparently had this conversation:

Me: "Can we just skip this?"

A, being his usual wakeful self. "Huh? Skip what?"

Me: "I don't want to risk having another liaison."

A: "....You're asleep, aren't you?"

Me: *affirmative noises, goes back to snoring*

I'm not sure what I find freakier, the fact that my subconscious is trying to sabotage my relationship, or the fact that I talk like a 1950s housewife in my sleep. Seriously, a "liaison"? Who even talks like that?

All I remember about my dreams last night is that a poltergeist was making my toothpaste glow, and that RDA lived next door (how he currently is – kind of too old for me, but still very cuddleable). I'm positive I didn't dream I was having liaisons with him. That, I would remember.

Today, I bought tickets for a play - something I reallyreally want to go see. A and I always get tickets to something in the new year, you see. Post-holidays, January looks like a long, hard slog, and February even worse, so we need something to brighten our winter.

In previous years we've been to see Return To The Forbidden Planet (space monsters from the Id ftw), The Play What I Wrote (fabulous play about Morecambe and Wise, a little like seeing them live), The Woman In Black (skeeery!), Rock 'n' Roll (highly intellectual and verbose Tom Stoppard play, all about Czechoslovakia and Pink Floyd and the Velvet Revolution), and, last year, The First Emperor (British Museum exhibition about the first emperor of China - Terracotta Army, omg). Plus some other things that I've forgotten, probably. This year, we're not going until well into the Spring, which is sad, but it's something awesome, and it's not on until then. And I can't tell you what it is, because A could read this.

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to it. :)

I've been poking about with my friends filters, because I seemed to have several that basically had the same people in them, and some that were for a short-term purpose only, so if you suddenly have access / don't have access to old posts, you a) probably won't notice, but b) can tell me if you really want to see something or other.

Last night, I dreamed I was the young Charles Dickens. WTF? I don't even like Dickens. Can't I dream about being, I dunno, Louisa May Alcott, instead? Also, I don't think he did live in an orphanage and have adventures.

redial_the_gate  rewatch tonight, watching Small Victories, woohoo! The second time in two episodes that Daniel helplessly witnesses his friends effect a last-minute escape using an Asgard beam. Rather stressful for the poor lamb. Still, he's probably given them ulcers, too, with his complete disregard for his own personal safety in the face of Injustice.

Dreams. They're certainly getting around at the moment, aren't they? And in them, so am I. My last one was fantastic. I dreamed I'd written a Stargate musical. It was AWESOME. I don't remember much about the musical itself, except that one song was about replicators *jazz hands*, and it was going to star Chris Judge, with a story revolving around Teal'c being confused and trying to figure out what was going on. And then CJ came to a party I was throwing (and I had a fabulously bohemian, if also very messy, house), and I - very nervously - pitched it to him. He was very charming, very friendly, and slightly wary, but he agreed to give it a go. He had a lovely singing voice.

I wish I could share it with you, but sadly I can't write music, so it's pretty much a no-go from the start. :)
