My first reaction was, to quote Jack O'Neill, "Oh, crap!" My mother died of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, and it is a hideous way to go. I hate that his brain, as so many other great ones before him, is taking this path. I am going to go reread Good Omens, one of my favorite books of his--I like many of the Discworld series, but Good Omens is just great.
