PSA:

Everyone should get trampoline pr0n for their birthday. Really! A birthday is incomplete without it.

*smooshes Rigel again, because she's just that awesome*

---

I'm saying goodbye to everyone at work today, and feeling surprisingly emotional about it. I've worked here two years, so I guess it's not unreasonable. I've had good and bad times, but mainly good, and I will miss this place. *sniffles, reads emails from colleagues, sniffles more*

I have chocolate chip and pecan cookies wot I made last night to console me, though. Myum.

---

I've been trying for days now to think of a story from my teens that I could tell you all, as prompted by [personal profile] holdouttrout . I'm sure there must be tons, but my mind has been completely and utterly blank. I know I was a teenager... I have photos...

(If anyone wants to give me more things to blog about, btw, feel free, although I'm clearly rubbish at this meme. *g* But I'll probably be better once my brain stops flitting about, firing off to-do notes like "Phone van company! Check Electric! Clean oven! Find box for Christmas tree! Cancel Bravissimo catalogue! Take library book back!")

You clean your oven?

Wanna come clean mine?

Although not sure when I last used it.

I have to clean my oven - it's in my rental contract. :) I also have to do other implausible things, like getting the curtains dry-cleaned, and the carpets steam cleaned...

But I do use my oven a lot (particularly when in a cookie-baking mood), so that's probably a good thing. :)

Rigel's story is indeed awesome! ("Cam, where...?")

Sorry you'll miss work. I hope you find someplace even better! And good luck moving!

Ta! I've never ended up regretting a work move (although I'm sure it's possible) - so I feel pretty positive about the changing of jobs.

Cam's gonna get hurt, I fear. I used to do trampolining, years ago (SO much fun), and I remember how abrasive it was on tough things like knees and elbows. :)

Hah hah! Rigel is indeed awesome.

Good luck on the oven. I think it's almost easier not to clean--that way you don't have to do all that work. Although you don't get any of the deposit back, either.

*sighs*

I'm pretty sure at least once I just ate the specified didn't-clean-oven fee when I moved out of a rental. Good luck with the moving!
