Today we have Drama in the office. I am staying clear, because I don't know who's right or wrong, and I don't especially care, but it's making for a very tense afternoon. On the other hand, that also means it's peaceful. Except for the odd explosion of accusations. Oy.
I discovered this weekend that I can write 450-word application letters that sound disturbingly... professional. I resisted learning Business Speak for the longest time, but it seems that it's seeped into my consciousness. I can say things like "proactive" and "managing expectations" without any apparent irony. Depressing, I tell you. But useful. Le sigh.
We're still havering about the flat. It's been on the market for a while, which is a worry, but also means that if we do decide to take it, it'll probably still be there. Anyhow, we'll probably go look at some more, soon. And that pub won't be too far away, wherever we are in Oxford. :)
Oh noes! Sudden drilling! *hides under desk*
