Heroes isn't my favorite episode, but it's really high up there for exactly the reason you gave (I love Daniel making the camera crew run after him and, really, every moment you mentioned). I have one quibble at the end that as much as the ending montage thing is good, I really, really wanted a teamy moment SO BAD (at the very least, someone on the team comforting Daniel) and I felt it hurt the episode a bit not to have that. I wanted to see them together the night after the funeral just...being there with each other.

As for the Tok'ra vs. Jaffa thing - it's interesting. In a way you're a slave to the Goa'uld either way - either having to dedicate your life to serving them or to destroying them.
