Okay, I've just had no time recently to write either lj or fic - but from next week I should have loads of free time. So I'm just posting briefly 'cause I miss it.
My Stargate fic plan, in the weeks leading up to Christmas, is to work on finishing the next entry in the Valentines series (which is mostly done but just needs an ending), maybe doing some more of the Getting To Know You stuff, and finishing off one or two stories I've had lying around and which I haven't posted yet because I'm... just not sure about them. They're just... eh. And also working out some plot/timeline/reality issues on a really long (for me) fic that I've been working on for ages. Turns out that setting a story in two different realities, and involving time travel, is really complicated. Who'da thunk? Perhaps I should simplify. And I'm trying to write apocafic for one of the realities, but it's just not apoca enough. :) Need to put on my angst hat. <Insert mental picture of the sort of hat that Morticia Addams would wear to a funeral here.>
So that's my thoughts for the day.

You know I can think of one school in North London that could use a good tornado. When was that reunion again? ;)

I'd be using bold, too, and capslock, but that just comes across as shouty and cross. (And I haven't worked out how to use formatting in replies to comments. It must be here somewhere...)
I've not seen the email yet - can't check Yahoo emails at work (grr), and am on verrrrrrry slllllllow dialup at home, so I only check it occasionally. I will send a minion to check it for me now, though.
And hoorah to tornados on HSG - ding, dong, the witch is dead, perhaps? :D
I am impressed at your use of minions to check your email. My minions, being small and furry, are useless at such things. However I do have broadband so I can't blame dialup for my non-email-checking behaviour which is legendary among Oxford friends.
Everyone is on LJ nowadays. I don't use my real name on mine (to preserve a certain level of anonynimity from my fanboys) but I thought you'd probably figure out who I was quite quickly.
1) Got email, but minion not included your email address, so have sent him back for it so I can reply to you. Otherwise I have to dictate emails down the phone to minion, and that's just impractical. Can't get the minions these days. And he's going to kill me if he reads all this. :)
2) Hoorah for html.
3) LJ, myspace, argh, all too much, need to also spend time in real world. Some day. And I looked at your online fans a while ago (the Yahoo group), it was adorable, I was tempted to post something, then thought I'd be better to email you properly so not have to talk in code, then... didn't. Bad me. But happy me resuming contact. Will chat more via email facilities.
