I'm being a complete failure at making a banner, vickyocean. I'm really sorry - I just don't think it's going to get done any time soon. So, you know, you should go ahead and pick one of the much-more-beautiful-than-I-could-make ones that other people commented with links to, without worrying about me suddenly popping up in a couple of weeks with a specially-made-for-you-but-unfortunately-really-rubbish banner. Er, not that you need my permission to do that, of course - but I worry that you're feeling obliged to wait, and want to just get on with repainting your lj. :-) 

According to the work canteen menu, my vegetarian options this week include pan-fried steak sandwich, bang-bang chicken, and gammon ham and eggs. *aims eyebrow in their general direction*
