Oh yes, me too.

I'm being a complete failure at making a banner, [profile] vickyocean. I'm really sorry - I just don't think it's going to get done any time soon. So, you know, you should go ahead and pick one of the much-more-beautiful-than-I-could-make ones that other people commented with links to, without worrying about me suddenly popping up in a couple of weeks with a specially-made-for-you-but-unfortunately-really-rubbish banner. Er, not that you need my permission to do that, of course - but I worry that you're feeling obliged to wait, and want to just get on with repainting your lj. :-)

According to the work canteen menu, my vegetarian options this week include pan-fried steak sandwich, bang-bang chicken, and gammon ham and eggs. *aims eyebrow in their general direction*

Ask me any question, about myself, or what I think about something--personal, political, fannish, whatever--and I'll answer it.

*goes to think up questions to put to other people*

Name the super power you wish you had.

Favorite article of clothing and why?

Ooh... well, flying would be awesomeness with a side order of awesome. I think I'd choose that. Superman-style flying, that is - I don't want wings.

I invented a character for the X-Men universe who could make people fall asleep, using the power of pheremones. I thought that was rather fun - but personally, I'd rather be able to fly.

And, hmm... do shoes count? Because I think it has to be my red high heels. They're cute rather than slutty (matt red rather than patent leather), they have little pink bows on them, and they make my feet look tiny. They're just the girliest things imaginable. Not usually the style I go for - but I just adore them.

Oh, or my cloak. I have the best cloak. It used to belong to my mum, when she was a teenager. It was made by my great-aunt, and when laid out flat it's almost a complete circle. It's really, really heavy material, and it has a hood, and it swirls beautifully, and I feel like one of Tolkien's Ringwraiths when wearing it. Plus it's quite practical - if I wear it for Hallowe'en, it's really warm.
