We had a fire alarm drill at work this morning, badly timed for me 'cause I'd just gone to the canteen, and was making toast. So I had to go stand outside in the cold with just my phone and my small change to keep me warm. Brrrrr. And then go back to yates. At least the toast didn't set the kitchen on fire whilst we were out doing the drill. Although that would have been funny.

And you've got some great ones on there, too. Pretty much anything SG-1 by Annerb, Annunaki (read Starlite if you haven't already), Jojo6, Gail and Michelle V is wonderful. Alas...Jojo's stopped writing SG-1, it looks like, and Gail has stopped (for now, she says) b/c she's working on REAL fiction.
I haven't yet read anything by Shaz (Sharim), but I will soon. And I'll get to those others, too. Thanks for the recs. :)

Lunar1 is good, but her stuff is frustratingly mostly incomplete, and it looks like she's mostly abandoned SG-1 for Doctor Who fic. Sigh. I'm avoiding the Doctor Who thing, myself. I like the programme, but it's just such a *huge* fandom, I'd never see daylight again. Ditto Buffy - love it, thought the series was the best thing since sliced bread, but there's just so *much*...
