So, today was nice at work - all permanent staff were off on a get-together, and me being a temp, I stayed behind and footled around on the computer. I didn't have anything much to do (it's a quiet time of year for us), so I wrote 2000 words of my
reel_sg1 fic. Stargate crossover with Labyrinth. Glee, I tell you. Jack is not amused by goblins. Teal'c is not intimidated by the Goblin King. Daniel is discussing the history of labyrinths. Sam is trying to work out whether Jareth is using beam technology. Jareth is getting slightly irked that they're not playing along. Glee!
I've got nearly 3000 words in total, so far, and they've only just got to the bit where the doorway is hidden in the wall, though. Oops...
And I need to put that on hold and go finish my (relaunched with a new prompt) apocafic, so that I can justify writing pirate fic International Talk Like A Pirate Day on Wednesday. Heck. Going to be busy tonight.

As for being busy with writing... I know the feeling. This upcoming break when other people are traveling, I'm going to be... okay, I'll be traveling a bit as well, but not quite so extensively and on top of that, I'll be WRITING. About four or five different things at this point it looks like. *headdesk* I swear, ideas are like girls going to the toilet... they can't go one at a time, they have to go in droves.
I can't seem to stop writing the crossover. Dammit.
