(for what it's worth, I usually make a poll, ask to see the code, copy the code, and past it into an entry rather than use the crazy wizard thing though....that could fail too)

Ah - I copy the code once I've used the poll wizard to create it, so I have it saved as html script. But that crazy poll wizard might still be screwing it up at the html level, so that's not necessarily helping me. I'll try it your way around - I think I know what you mean.
I just reached the stage where I was about ready to throw my computer out the window, so I thought I'd stop and take a breather. Ugh.
Join the club (we have badges): I just now took a break, went up to the canteen to buy a raspberry frozen yoghurt... and dropped it all over the floor.
Siiiiiiigh.
Fortunately, the canteen staff took pity on my obvious idiocy, and let me have another for no extra charge.
