Apparently I don't have many friends - which is no wonder, if I keep pulling their hair. :D Hey, I've only just joined lj. I do wonder how it came to choose Colorado Springs, though...
Going to go ~friend~ some more people, methinks.

Ta for the marrow. Could you send me a little more, thanks.
And even though it has nothing to do with anything, I seem to look at the clock (on my wall or in the car or at the bottom right hand corner of my monitor, or at my watch) and see that it's 11:11 a lot. Very weird.
As to the CS in the Santa thingy...maybe it's a spider. I assume there's some sort of information gathering software in it, as it randomly picks usernames from your friends list. Maybe it picked Colorado Springs from some other text? Hmm.

I'm a firm believer in coincidence, and that we only notice these things because they're odd or striking in some way - whereas actually, a billion weird things *don't* happen to me, every day. I read a thing recently talking about randomisation of iPods - people are convinced their iPods are obsessed with one particular singer, because there seems to be an inordinate amount of songs by that person when it's on random shuffle. Whereas actually, that's the whole point of randomness - you get clumps of things. If you didn't, it'd be evenly distributed, and not random at all...
This has nothing to do with anything much, I just find it interesting. The way our minds are wired to read stories into things. It's a survival trait, so I heard - humans tell stories in their heads, and can work out what's likely to happen, so they're better at hunting etc.
I'll shut up now.
I always used to notice the time at 10.13, but I blame the X-Files for that.
I thought it was 11:21? At least, according to the (hilarious) relationship guide I found at that Phile site you recommended.
I've only ever seen maybe a third of the X-files episodes altogether, though, so I certainly can't say with any...er...certainty.
