To my dearest colleagues,
Wow, you're not too bright, are you? When a water cooler doesn't have a big bottle o' water on top, and instead has a collection of empties bottles all around it, that means there's no water. No amount of putting a plastic cup under the tap, pressing the tap, or standing there and frowning at it is going to make the water appear. It's not magic water. There isn't a well underneath the cooler. Go and ask the facilities dude to bring some more bottles up (you should recognise him – he's the guy who pushes a trolley full of big water bottles past you every damn day).
Sheesh.
Also, learn the code to the door already. And stop putting boxes under the photocopier trays, or you'll break the damn thing. There's a big notice telling you not to do that, can you not see it? It's only 72pt, I realise that, but perhaps you could pay a little more attention to the world around you.
Yours not in charity with the human race this morning,
Pepper.

I used to work at a mailroom, and we'd put a sign out on the counter when we needed to work in the back. It was blue, with BIG RED LETTERING, and it said, "PLEASE RING CHIMES FOR SERVICE."
Heck, I would even have been okay with someone saying, "Is anyone there?"
But only 25% of the people would ring. The rest either didn't notice the sign (sigh) or would tell us that they "didn't want to bother us by ringing the chimes."
Which is why we had the sign out, of course. So they could alert us to their presence and we could get annoyed for doing our jobs.
I'd've taken this more in stride, if I wasn't feeling cranky already. :) But oh, why must people be so annoying? It feels like a neverending struggle - people vs. doors, with me getting the fallout.
And another friend had the worst trouble getting her *own* door to open at all. It actually became quite funny.
I hope you're feeling better now, though. Also, your Mac comment fic in Jenn's journal was genius. From what I know of Mac, which is as close to absolutely nothing as you can get. But it was humorous and fun, and I "saw" RDA while reading it.
And, *glees*, glad you liked! I do like writing Mac - although writing more than a ficlet kills me a bit, 'cause he's - dare I say it? - a bit boring. *hides*
Loved your comment fic, too. Can't beat Grumpy Jack. *smooshes him* And Grumpy Jack unwillingly being amused by Carter... awwwwwww. *g*
