Okay, so I'm going to put this behind a cut, just in case... Man, I'm such a chicken.
edit: Oh, forgot to say, picture heavy behind the cut. Pictures such as the icon used for this post.
Pictures by Edward Gorey. Borrowed by me, 'cause I think they're genius. My particular favourites are Ida, Neville, Prue, Victor, and Xerxes.

(Is it wrong that I also have an urge to remake these for all my friends, changing the relevant letter of the alphabet into their name? Possibly not the sort of gift people are happy to receive ;-)
Poor little Basil. I like that one, too. Heck, I like 'em all. I think my favourite of all is Prue. I don't know why, I just feel extra sorry for her - she looks like she's had a hard life for such a wee kiddy.
Besides Neville and Prue, I'm also partial to Susan. This is partly due to the fact that I find dying of fits a funny idea (well, darkly funny) and partly because I have an aunt named Susan who I just could never picture throwing a fit in the first place!
I think my flist has a very wrong sense of humour. Hooray! *g*
That's because it's the best sense of humor to have.I mean... >.> <.< dark humor? What dark humor? And what better time to show it than when the Warriors For Innocence are stalking the halls of lj? Oho yes. Bring it on.
Particular love of Desmond (sleighs make me think of Santa), Victor (its the "squashed"), Xerxes (never work with children or animals, folks!), and Hector.
Although I'm quite disappointed that my username is too long and my real name comes out with "fell down the stairs". I wanna be devoured by mice!
I'm thinking of following Triskellian's idea, above, and changing the Prue one to Pepper. It'd make a good default icon. My real name's not on there, but it'd fit nicely into 'perished of fits'.
'C is for Caladria who wasted away'... it's not ideal, but it could almost work.
Ane the joy of editing, I suppose, is you can cheat and change the letter at the start as well - as modelled by the icon (although, really, not as fun as making people fit "Caladria" into two syllables, because *g*)
