8 random facts about me:
I have a (small) collection of really, really dreadful films, courtesy of various TV/movie crushes - the absolute worst of which is Susan's Plan (feat. Michael Biehn). Fortunately for me, most of Richard Dean Anderson's oeuvre is unavailable to buy in the UK.
I had green tea flavour ice cream last weekend, and it was lovely.
My oldest and most loved toy is a stuffed dog called Sammy, who came free with tokens from Andrex. He looks unbelievably depressed, despite his extensive wardrobe.
I should soon have broadband at home, woohoo!
I grew up - for my first ten years, anyhow - in a hundred-year-old house in the middle of a wood. This sounds more romantic if I phrase it that way than it was in actuality. (But it was a little romantic!)
We had a housemate at college who used to 'borrow' our stuff, repeatedly and without asking. In retaliation, we topped up my ketchup with an entire bottle of tabasco sauce, made some bath foam out of washing-up liquid, water, and PVA glue, and filled an empty shower gel container with Squeezy Cheese. None of these belonged to him, and he never asked if he could use them, so any resulting discomfort was entirely his own lookout.
I adore a quiz show called 'Eggheads'. It's set at about the level I can yell at the TV, "But that's so easy! How can you possibly not know that?!?", thus making me feel brainy.
My favourite perfume is Be Delicious, by Donna Karen. I was attracted initially by the bottle, which is shaped like an apple. It's pretty much the first perfume I've ever consistently worn.

Also, I will not now be moving to Oxford in June. Chiz chiz, it's the sensible choice, so we have to sign up for another 12 months at the place we're currently renting (with no break clause) - but next year... Yes. More time to plan, find work there, sort various and sundry other things out... all that practical stuff. Ah well. (Means I can go sign up for the
sjficathon now, though!)
edit: Thought I wish I hadn't just had (when mentally working out how I might describe MacGyver): if Jack and Sam had a son, he might well have grown up to be Mac (if you ignore the whole timeline thing). Science, and fishing, and hockey, and bad jokes, and inability to leave a problem alone, and love of being outdoors...
Urgh. Badfic ideas, attacking my brain.

And, argh, I was trying to ignore the whole 1969 thing. Trying, I tell ya. I'm not going to write it! I'm NOT!!!!! (But that doesn't fit in with Mac's age. Then again, the time travel was a little bumpy...)
And, cool! Glad it turned up. :) Feel free to ignore any and all suggestions I've made. Oh, and if that's the one you were worrying about the angst content of, I shouldn't worry - it was only the tiniest bit of angst, I doubt it'd upset the prompter.
TY!
And there have been other examples of them traveling in time. And how do we know that they got the Moebius jump right the first time... they could have done a babystep before the BIG leap. Maybe blown a fuse or something before they... well, um... anyway....
