pepper: Pepperpot (Snax)
Despite the efforts of [profile] abyssinia4077  (who's making me write crackier and crackier stuff) and [personal profile] rowan_d  (who's making me write S/D pRon!), I'm still chugging along on my SDficathon piece. But, boy am I bored of it... *g* I'm going to go write something not featuring Sam OR Daniel after it's done. They can go jump. (Although now I kinda want to write MacGyver/Sam (Carter)... dammit, [profile] surrealphantast...)

And I am developing somewhat of a crush on Michael Shanks, thanks to the dry humour of his blog. Still not especially attracted to Daniel, though, which is... eh. At least I can say that it's definitely not about appearance for me. (Although the fact that he's very hot doesn't... hinder my impending crush. *g*)

I'm a terrible girlfriend. Why do you put up with me, A? *squishes*

What else? My ankle itches. I slept from 7.30pm last night all the way through to 6.30am this morning, woohoo. Oh, and I hate people who can't open doors for themselves, meaning I have to get up and open it for them. It's an EASY CODE TO REMEMBER, GODDAMMIT. LEARN IT. STOP EXPECTING ME TO BE YOUR DOORMAN, OR SOON I SHALL START LEAVING YOU OUT THERE. KNOCKING AS QUIETLY AS POSSIBLE DOESN'T MAKE ME DISLIKE YOU ANY LESS.

Eejits.

/rant. Life's tough, huh? *g*

Now I'm going to go have lunch.

Hey, I didn't encourage *any* crack today! And yay to fic working - though I'm sad you're getting fed up with Sam and Daniel...only...I would be RIGHT BEHIND any MacGyver/Carter you want to write (and, um, this is where I admit that while I am very familiar with the idea of MacGyver I've never seen a single minute of the show...)

And I am developing somewhat of a crush on Michael Shanks, thanks to the dry humour of his blog.

You are so not alone. I was actually talking to [livejournal.com profile] 6beforelunch about him last night...I admit I was strongly drawn to Daniel, but I kept insisting I was attracted to Daniel and completely not interested in MS. But now he's being all...charming and funny and real and just dangerous. Must avoid celebrity crush.

I have no good advice on the door besides perhaps finding a screw driver, attacking the hinges, and just removing the damn thing...

For which I am grateful. ;)

And, hee, I know the feeling - I felt like I knew MacGyver before I saw any of it. If you've seen the A-Team, and Knightrider, and Richard Dean Anderson, it's pretty easy to picture. :)

I'm thinking of putting a stern comment in MS's blog: "Stop being attractive and witty, please. I'm far too busy to develop a crush on you."

Yeah. My first high school chemistry teacher was a HUGE MacGyver fan so we heard about him at least once a week - which is actually where most of my MacGyver knowledge has come from.

I've seen a little A-team...no Knightrider - but I've definitely seen RDA :)

I would CRACK UP at a comment like that (along with being mildly mortified because something about fan-actor interaction always freaks me out). It really isn't fair! I always try so hard to not develop actor crushes and he's going and being charming and funny and adorable and...guh!

Heh. Not the best way to hear of MacGyver, perhaps - it would put me off if any of my teachers were big fans of something. A couple of English teachers adored King Lear and Wuthering Heights, and I don't know if my vehement dislike of both those is because of the teachers, or if I'd have disliked them anyway.

And I would never actually post that - although I think he might take it in the spirit it was intended. But it'd be a little freaky, yes... *g*

Naw. With other teachers, maybe. But she was one of my favorite teachers ever (sorta...an extra-hyper Janet Fraiser if Janer Fraiser decided to be a high school chemistry teacher?) So she definitely left me curious to see it.
(though I agree bad teachers can DEFINITELY have that affect).

Oh, I didn't think you'd actually post it. He might indeed be amused though.

an extra-hyper Janet Fraiser ?!?

Wow. *g*

I think he might be amused. Or possibly think that he has a weirdo stalker... Heh.

Yep. Right down to 5-foot-tall in pumps and a white lab coat.
She was awesome. And, hey, must have had an impact since I got my degrees in her subject :)
