You know, sometimes people are just really nice?

I'd previously been told by my boss that he was moving to a different branch of the company, and that (because it's a long way away) my temp contract would thus end round about the end of April. He actually let me know a couple of months in advance, so I had plenty of time to sort out job stuff.

But now, with various things happening in the company, he's not moving yet - everything's up in the air for him. So he told me today that he'd like to keep me on for now. I'm actually planning to move at the end of June, so will have to quit then - I hadn't let him know previously, because it wasn't going to make any difference, but when he asked me about renewing my contract, I told him about the house move.

He said that, in that case, he'll renew my contract up until when I'm moving, and after that he'll see about getting a new PA or surviving without one until he moves.

Basically, he's fitting the job around my requirements. How nice is that? And it's perfect for me. I've said that I may commute for a bit, once I've moved, until I can find a new job or if it'll help the changeover for him. Because it's a nice (and pretty well paid) job, and he's a very nice man.

*hugs lovely boss*

However, pollen is evil. *stabs pollen*

Pollen IS evil. I'm allergic, and whereas I use to get an asthma attack from it, now I get a furious all over the body itch reaction. I'm taking the claritin now though and that is helping, but I can't NOT itch if I forget to take it. I get all welty and look like I have fleas or something. :rolls eyes:

Oy. That's not fun. I get the itchy skin thing, but not as bad as that, thank god.

*hates pollen*

(Even my icon is making me feel itchy.)

Pollen is the tool of the devil. As is cat dander. And grass seeds. And smoke. And dust mites.

*stabses them all*

Also, on behalf of a friend of mine, all nuts and seeds are evil and should die. Because they've nearly killed her a time or two.

*stabs them, too*
