See, that was sort of the reasoning behind my first tattoo: I wanted to force myself to remember that committing myself to something isn't the end of the world - that if I want to do something spontaneous, I shouldn't always stress the long-term repercussions. Because who knows? Maybe I'll get hit by a bus tomorrow. Or maybe the repercussions won't be that bad. Or if they are, I can probably deal with them.
That would be a bummer, but it could happen.
