Your Result: Literature Nerd

Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and it's eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. You contribute to the smart people of today's society, however you can probably be overly-critical of works.

It's okay. I understand.

Being a literature nerd, I object to the structure of that first sentence. Does sitting by a nice (comma) cozy fire, blah, blah, blah, what? 'Does sitting by a fire' is not a question.

Overly-critical? Moi?

:-)

Literature Nerds of the World UNITE!
Hahah. Don't feel too bad, personally I was pissed off at all the misspelled names of artists on that silly quiz. And I am still wondering what hentai is.

Yes! I wanted the answers. Hentai? Alignment? WTF?

I actually wrote my criticism of the first sentence before I noticed the bit about "overly critical". *g* So that's overly critical and keen to show off about my knowledge.

Re: Literature Nerds of the World UNITE!
Well, I can help you with alignment thing, seeing as how gamer/computer nerd was a close second for me. :P In Dungeons and Dragons (or any sort of role playing game) your character has an alignment. Like, Chaotic-Neutral (don't believe in good or evil, or an inherent order to anything) all the way to something Lawful-Good (honor and compassion and playing by the rules!) to Chaotic Evil (screw everyone and everything, it's all about ME ME ME!). It's sort of a guideline for how your character would react in any given situation.

And now that I have out nerded everyone on the planet, I am off to do something outdoors in penance. Lol.

Ohhhh. Ta. I have friends into Dungeons & Dragons and such, but I could never get past the huge-ass instruction manuals, myself. Too much like hard work. I have the attention span of a Jack O'Neill. :)

But even more importantly, you had a proper icon available for each phase of this discussion. I am ever in awe. :)

I'm nothing if not pedantic. I still have room for about forty more icons. I hope to have one for anything I might ever say.

Re: Literature Nerds of the World UNITE!
I have to admit, I only finally read my handbook through when I leveled my second character to level two (and my first one had made it further).

Our group's collective lack of attention span (Mr. D. is about the most ADHD person in the world, he is so awesome) is what makes it so much fun though.

They didn't spell ANY of the names right. Idiots.

In the quiz? You know, I really didn't notice, when I did it. Probably because I wasn't paying attention...

Ah, that rings a bell, actually. I have heard of it.

But not watched it. Oh no.

As if.

(And, thanks! My grammar icons are my favouritest.)
