Oh, and did you ever read Lady of the Forest and Lady of Sherwood by Jennifer Roberson. I really enjoyed those, though not the second as much as the first. I tried to read Maid Marian by Elsa Watson and I couldn't get through it. The characterization was just so Marian or Robin.
