It's a cliche, I know, but the best things in life are free. A and I bought no Valentines cards or flowers, and we didn't go to a fancy restaurant. Instead, we left our computers switched off all Saturday (well, okay, partly because his needs a new power cable that hasn't been delivered yet - Apple, your power cables
suck), and went for a five-hour walk, stopping for all-day veggie breakfast, and taking in some shops and the library. We talked about why Hustle is so fun, and other such fascinating things. Oh, and we looked at rings (big step for us - boy, we just don't rush these things, do we?). Then we came home and had pizza. It was great.
