Brilliant! I love the ring of spices 'round the stove.

And that door is PERFECT for practical jokes.

Really, REALLY cruel ones, though. Unless of course you stop people just before they fall two storeys. But where's the fun in that? *g*

I like to feel my spices are watching me whilst I cook. :)

Maybe there's usually something inflatable underneath it on prank days?

Powdered sugar penumbra, hee!

I totally want to live where you do. It seems so ... I don't know, organic in its attractiveness.

Yes, that's a good way to describe it. I mean, most of the UK is quite green (because of all the rain, dammit), but here the architecture often fits well with the greenery, too. One of the reasons I moved here - it's just... softer than London.

Oh goodness yes. That's us being quite restrained, actually. *g* I swear the damn things grow, like bindweed.

Excellent! It's a fun meme. It seems summery, somehow, to me... I guess maybe because it's got everyone up and doing stuff. *shrugs*

What ever you were baking looks extremely yummy!

Lemon drizzle cake. It was loooooooovely. I made one for work (because someone there has very kindly been giving me a lift home for the past week or so, and she likes lemon drizzle cake). I was going to bring a slice home for A, but there was nothing left but crumbs by the end of the day - so this evening I made a second one, for him and me. *g*

Sounds excellent. We are baking brownies for college girl's care package. But lemon drizzle cake sounds even better!

I need a yummy food icon.

I never thought I'd say this, but - that wall is gorgeous! I want to live where you live just so I can walk by that wall. (As long as that wall isn't by that door. Because it is clearly a practical joke door.)

I know - you wouldn't think a wall would be a thing to admire, would you? :)

Wow, the apples ready are early. Oh, wait, you're wayyyyy south of me *hand/forehead* Our apples aren't ready yet, but will be in a month or so. Going to be a bumper crop this year!

Yeah, I was startled when I saw those apples today. I'm not convinced they're edible, though - they're really tiny. It's hard to tell from the picture, but they're about the size of golfballs. But they look pretty. :)

Is that a goa'uld hiding behind your toaster? For God's sake, keep the mustard safe!

(I love your wall too. It's a good wall, I can just tell. :)

Haha! No, actually, it's a small moose. It's on top of this revolting drink thing from Ikea, and... I like your goa'uld idea better. *g*

(Got your email. Will email you tomorrow, but mainly it'll say "Yay!" and "Any of those days!")
