I think someone should make him a big badge saying "Colonel". (Ooh, icon idea...) Daniel and Sam started early with their lack of respect for his authority, didn't they?

It just seemed so clear that Jack was thinking things, as those two talked - they kept cutting to him, and his lack of reaction, and then he pushed past them really quite irritably (understandable, given that they were openly implying that he's probably nuts).
