Wow, making icons isn't as easy as I'd thought. I don't have a problem with the design so much as I do with the quality - it always comes out looking kinda blurry. Need to play around some more, maybe look up some tutorials. On the other hand, I've been learning what screen, and hard light, and multiply, and soft light, etc, do, so that's good. It's about time, really - I've used Photoshop for about eight years now, so it's about time I got more proficient.
Fell asleep last night just as some lines / vague ideas for an SG-1 story popped into my fron. Then woke up late, had to rush in for an early meeting, had no time to myself until lunchtime. Jotted down some notes, so it hasn't all vanished. I should be writing more of it down, though, instead of journaling. Eh. I'm letting it mature.
After years of experimentation, I've found that the ideas I come up with just as I fall asleep are actually better if I let them brew for a bit. Unlike tea, which stews. Person in my office should take note. I used to get frustrated by forgetting things by the morning, but I've found they come back if I trace my thought processes.
