I kept doing a mental comparison with Jack (I really tried not to, but I couldn't help it), and really, I have to admit that Cam came out best. You just couldn't have done that episode with Jack in his place - not all the training (loved the running through the forest bit!), and the willingness to spend a protracted period of time learning a new skill... Cam and his training and talking and training and being knackered and yet still talking... loved it. It was so obvious that the trainer guy would turn out to be the 'dead' guy's brother, but who cares, he had a nice smile, and a believable change of heart. I hope we see the Sodan again because they were vey cool, and... ooh, Cam.

I kept being distracted, though, by some familiar faces. "Isn't that Candyman?... Hey, isn't that Cancer Man?... Wow, I knew the Priors were evil, but now they've got Cancer Man working for them - watch out, Earth."

So, yay. And hopefully I'll be able to get on and write the prompts that I've still got hanging around (one Sam/Cam, and one Cam/Vala), now I'm watching more Cam. *feels slightly guilty*

And apparently I now need a Cam icon.

Thinking of things I love - the Doctor's new assistant! "Where are they from, Planet Zovirax?" *belated glee* I did wonder if that line would be as gleeful for international fans, though. It doesn't really work to have it explained afterwards. Which made me all the more gleeful, in a way, because it felt like it was a joke aimed at me. Selfish but true.
