Thank you to everyone who joined in with the 'Let's All Watch CoTG And Squee On AIM' yesterday - it was a heck of a lot of fun. That's pretty much the first time I've watched Stargate with anyone - well, with anyone who's actually interested in it, that is.
abyssinia4077 kindly saved and formatted the chat logs, and although they might make no sense to anyone who wasn't there, you can still go and read them on
redial_the_gate, in two parts: part 1 and part 2. Apparently the end wordcount was around 25,000, written over about 3hrs. One or two more of those and we'd have a book. Granted, a book that no one would want to read, but a book nevertheless. :)
It will definitely happen again, and a post will go up on redial soon to sort out the finer details, now we have an idea of what's involved. I probably won't play mom every time. It was almost no work to do so - no one misbehaved, it was mostly a matter of inviting people to the chatroom - but the most workable start times for international watching (to include the maximum amount of people) tend to mean me being awake at late hours. I am a night owl, but I try not to make a habit of it. 'Try' being the operative word there.
