A few weeks ago, I was leaving the park by my house after taking the dog for a walk. It was fairly late at night and a police car pulled up. The officer asked if I felt safe walking in the park at night, and I thought to myself, "I did. Until now." I know exactly how Daniel felt in that moment. ; )
