Random thing.
I don't remember who I heard of this from, but I think it was someone on LJ, a fair while back, and I am eternally grateful to them:
Weight Watchers recipe cards from 1974.
I remembered the site today, whilst looking at some of my mum's old recipe cards (from 1975, and of a very similar ilk) and had to go look for it. And as before, I cried with laughter.

I remember it again, every now and then, and just have to go find if Macarelly was just a nightmare or not.

I have some similar cards that belonged to my mum, and they made me laugh, too. They do put the most random objects in them. It makes you wander about the thought processes behind them. "I know, Frank - fish pie... and lightbulbs!"

I guess it's not that much of a stretch.
Really.
Still, it's awfully creative. And the props. Man.
lol
That is disturbing. Thanks for sharing...no, seriously. I laughed my ass off. *g*

They're freaky, aren't they? I keep wondering if people actually, really, genuinely made this stuff - and whether their children were scarred for life. *g*
