pepper: Mary Pickford with roses (Mary Pickford with roses)

Hey, wait, what...?

Wow. I really don't know what to say. Someone's gifted me with six months of paid time! That's just... wow. I'm not very good at finding the right words to say thank you, but I feel a warm glow of "you like me, you really LIKE me!". Whoever it was, thank you so much! Is there anything I can do in return? Fic, action figure theatre, blogging on any subject... you name it.

While I'm offering, and since I'm not sure what else to write about for this three weeks thing...

Poll #2980 What would you like me to talk about?

Sapphire and Steel! So very, very creepy.

(If it was the same cheese-walnut-grapes chocolate I found, I was quite disappointed by the insufficient cheese levels; I wanted a proper Stilton bite to it. Maybe I got a dud bar, though.)

There's another brand of chocolate bars around -- can't remember or locate the name right now -- who do a bar with extra virgin olive oil. Which is delicious.

The show had a mysterious quality that just made it creepy as fuck, didn't it? There was a bleakness about it, maybe because they couldn't afford to populate the screen with extras.

And they were willing to making the pacing slow, so the creepiness built up gradually, and you didn't know when something was about to happen or what it would be.

Google's translation suggests that "fischgummi" is "rubber fish". Pursuit of further threads about the chocolate came up with "trout gelatin".

I am not sure I find either possibility enticing.

I clicked some of those just because I didn't know what they were. Also, I want a post along the lines of "Ten things/places I've seen that you should see before you die."
