That career meme / personality test.
Your personality type:
Logical, original, creative thinkers. Can become very excited about theories and ideas. Exceptionally capable and driven to turn theories into clear understandings. Highly value knowledge, competence and logic. Quiet and reserved, hard to get to know well. Individualistic, having no interest in leading or following others. Highly analytical, they can discover connections between two seemingly unrelated things and work best when allowed to use their imagination and critical thinking.
Careers that could fit you includes:
Physicists, chemists, biologists, photographers, strategic planners, mathematicians, university professors, computer programmers, computer animators, technical writers, engineers, lawyers, forensic researchers, writers, artists, psychologists, social scientists, systems analysts, researchers, surveyors.
Yes, I'll buy that – particularly the "Quiet and reserved, hard to get to know well", and the "no interest in leading or following others" bits. I tend to opt out of all that, if I can.
I'm surprised that science and maths have such a big emphasis. Partly, yes, I've always loved finding patterns and logic and all that, and I'm definitely analytical – over-analytical, sometimes (I like to think of it as following things to their logical conclusion). But I'm not very patient at staying with puzzles if I can't see the key quickly.
On the other hand, I will happily get quietly on and do variations on the same thing for hours and hours and hours... So, computer animator or forensic researcher makes sense to me.
