I was just thinking about my fic writing habits, and started to wonder... when did I last write Sam/Jack? I had to check, and the last fics / ficlets I've written have been, from most recent and working backwards -

• Sam/Cam

• Jack/Felger (!!!)

• And, finally, Sam/Jack

I haven't written Sam/Jack since April. APRIL! And I didn't sign up for the sjficathon, either, because of time, other ficathons I want to do (gateverse_remix  and apocalypse_kree), and the idea that I might write, oh, something of my own choice, sometime soon (hahaha).

 

Why am I not writing Sam/Jack? I still go on and on about it in other peoples' ljs. What's happened? Am I sick? *checks pulse, checks temperature, frets*

Must go write Sam/Jack immediately. Any requests?

It's quite disgustingly cute, isn't it? I liked the name Ben, and forgot about Ben Browder. I think one of Chris Judge's kids is called Cameron, incidentally (although presumably not named after Mitchell). In fact, unless I dreamed it, he has three kids, all with names beginning with 'C'. I didn't dream that, did I? Must go check.

Ben is a good name. And it would be fine in the Stargate universe - where Browder doesn't exist.
Though...it's the name of John Sheppard's kid in the first SGA fic I ever read so initially my brain popped over there.
(when I was writing mine I totally wanted to give them a second child...*whistles*)

What in the world is wrong with you? No sjficathon. I'm saddened. : ( I'm looking forward to apocalypse_kree as well. I've been of the mind to destroy the world lately.

I know how you're feeling. I haven't produced any fic lately either. Even chapters to things I've already started. I think I've gotten bogged down by these long fics that I keep starting or thinking about. I have a tough time doing just short fics. Everything has to be a freakin' epic. I was actually thinking about asking for prompts that could be short fics. So feel welcome to prompt me if you want and I'll give one.

After scanning the list of other ships you've written more recently than Sam / Jack, I would've assumed you hadn't written them since like....last year. But April's not so bad. What was that...the blue underwear one? *g* At the shooting range? I like that series a lot, btw, and I'm tossing a new chapter of that into the hat. And I will get what I want. Oh yes. Or you can see Chaka, there.

The one in April was for the schmoopage ficathon - Sam and Jack, sitting under a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g. Is it bad that I don't remember any of my titles?

That list contains a lot of ficlets, so it seems like a lot more work than it actually is. *g*
