Okay... so I was thinking about trying to write something other than Sam/Jack... why, I'm not sure. For the challenge, I guess. And because currently my space pirate fic is going nowhere fast (argharghargh), so I thought I'd kickstart myself with a slightly-longer-than-drabble (because I can't stick to 100 words. No way).

So the question is, who? Where? Doing what? To whom? ;) I'm looking for prompts, because my brain has seized up. I've never written slash, nor smut, nor OT3 (not properly), nor... well, anything other than gen and Sam/Jack, basically. Anything you'd like to see me try?

(Oh, it does need to be Stargate SG-1 - I've never seen Atlantis - and I've watched everything up to halfway through Season 9, and spoilered myself on the rest. And I'm not picky.)

Heh! Yes! I'm trying to nudge you in the CORRECT direction! Sam/Cam! Once you get into early season 10, I think you'll see what I mean.

I did almost give you Sam/Daniel, but that's just mean unless it's someone who's shipping tendencies you're sure of. ;) Plus, Sam/Cameron has sort of eclipses S/D for me now.

I know you like Vala. Now, do you like Vala/Daniel?

Why yes, I AM procrastinating before reading the fic you wrote. Because once I'm done it will be... DONE. Woe!!

Ach, well I won't see Season 10 for a while. I'm kinda glad no one gave me Sam/Daniel, although I was expecting someone would. I love your geek!verse Sam/Daniel stuff (is that the right term? I forget. The Moebius stuff).

Vala/Daniel... sorta. I like the pillow throwing, and the way he never quite knows whether she's manipulating him or not. I don't think I'd be happy with happy-ending Vala/Daniel, somehow, though... I can't quite see it happening. They strike me as too screwed-up, together or separately.

Jack and Teal'c friendship. Bowling, if you want a "doing what" scenario.

Ummm, how about pre-series. Jack in his youth- what inspired him to join the Air Force or why he loves that cabin so much. Or maybe how Jack met Sara. Or go a little dark, maybe how Jack recovered and coped after Iraq.

:D It's surrealphantast's fault. I blame her and all the wonderful fics she recommends. But I'm still S/J - I can't escape it, and don't want to, either - I just need to do something to get my mind going.

And, iiiiiinteresting prompts, thank you... Must go away and ponder on them... Hmmm...

w00t! It's not just you. I was thinking that the other day - "Hmm, Vala and Cam... they'd be a cute couple..." *g* And I felt justified in that, because I've not watched Farscape (aside from the odd ep several years back), so had no preconceptions about them.

I'll give it a go.

I'm getting so tempted by Farscape - but I spend too much time on Stargate as it is. But yes, Cam/Vala = good. Must go read yours...
