Teh hot

Okay, [personal profile] crazedturkey did this, and it looked like a good idea. Ten men to whom I would not say 'no'.

(A, look away. It would only be if you'd been hit by a bus and I was in need of meaningless comfort in my utter, devastating grief, you know that. x)

1. Richard Dean Anderson. Questions?

2. Hugh Jackman. Rowr.

Photobucket

3. David Tennant. Geek chic.

Photobucket

4. George Clooney. I am shallow. I freely admit this.

Photobucket

5. Johnny Depp. He just gets better and better.

Photobucket

6. Bryan Adams. Largely for nostalgia's sake, now.

Photobucket

7. Dylan Moran. Devious little dimples and creative use of language.

Photobucket

8. Michael Biehn. The confidence with which he moves, and his challenging stare.

Photobucket

9. Keanu Reeves. Ever since Speed.

Photobucket

10. James Marsden. Sorry, [profile] vickyocean! ;)

And because I couldn't decide which picture was best, a couple more gratuitous RDA pictures.

ETA: People upon whom I would like to take out a contract:

- Television announcers who tell you the plot of upcoming CSI episodes. I spent the whole thing knowing that the 'missing person' had had an affair with her lecturer, and was dead in a dumpster - information they didn't uncover until about 40 minute through. Thank you so much.

- David Jason, or whoever keeps hiring him to be in Terry Pratchett TV adaptations. Rincewind? Rincewind?!? I have no words. They'll hire him to play Granny Weatherwax next.

Haa! I did this a couple of years ago, and I think at least half of my list would be different now.

George Clooney! YES. I don't care if it makes me shallow either. I don't go out and try and see everything he does, nor do I read everything about him. He's just an ungodly sexy man. And, really, if you find RDA sex, you almost have to find George handsome, don't you? They acually have some similar features and personality quirks.

Yeah, some of these are permanent fixtures - others, not so much. Hugh Laurie was a possible contender, except I'd just been watching him in A Bit Of Fry And Laurie, and he's adorable, but really not that sexy. *g*

I didn't want to find George Clooney sexy. Everyone was raving about him in ER, and I tried to fight it, but... oh, then there was an ep where he rescued kids from a storm drain in a flood, in a wet tuxedo, and... *goes to happy place*

In Sunday's paper there's this column where people ask questions about celebrities.
Last week?
Q: Why does George Clooney keep dating women half his age?
A: Because he can.

(it doesn't hurt that he's a pretty damn good actor)

Well, yeah, it doesn't hurt that he's famous! I actually have a healthy amount of respect for guys who know their own minds and the lifestyle they want to lead, and they don't get married and divorced fifty times over their lifetimes. Ah, Hollywood drama!

That's one thing that has always sneakily impressed me about George Clooney and RDA - the not-getting-married thing. I always wonder whether it's because of commitment-phobia or idealism.

Oops. the parenthetical part was my own commentary...in that his attractiveness is very much helped by him being a good actor.

But YES to what you said.
